Meet Maximus Onesimus

Meet Maximus Onesimus or you can just call him Max for short. Max is the new furry addition to our little family. He is a four year-old American Cocker Spaniel sporting a full black coat. He has had quite the exciting afternoon as we brought him home from the Seattle Humane Society around 6pm this evening. He was very eager to jump into the car and head off to his new home.

Steph and I first met Max on Monday during a stop into the Humane Society to check out all of the residents. I went back on Tuesday evening while Steph was at Bible study and spent a good 30 minutes playing around with him in a large kennel. I put a 24 hour hold on him and we officially signed the adoption papers today. We had a blast shopping for all of his new stuff last night and he is thoroughly enjoying his new home so far. We’ll see how he does through the night and day tomorrow. Update to follow! Here are a few photos of Max.

Spring Training 2010

Well it is not quite Spring, but the Blue Rocks have officially started training for the 2010 season. We had our first practice at Arena Sports in Seattle. Needless to say I was pretty sore the next day. It felt great to see that I could still throw and hit a baseball. I think it is going to be a great season!
